The destruction of Israel?
I would like an answer to what seems like a basic question. In all the millions of words written about the Israeli-Hezballah conflict, and all the other wars for that matter, I have seen countless calls by Muslims for the destruction of Israel. These same people take delight in even the smallest hurt inflicted upon Israelis, whether it be property, life or limb, even though Israel continues to severely kick their ass for it. In fact, that’s how they define victory.
Among the greatest of absurdities is the suicide bomber. No wars, no bullets, no bombers have ever moved Israel one step closer to extinciton. In fact, the recent Israeli-Hezballah conflict triggered the sudden influx of MANY new Jewish immigrants to Israel. They are not visitors.
Is terrorism a form of employment while feeling good about some twisted, ignorant concept of Islam? Is it the answer to poverty or is poverty an excuse for boys playing with bombs while making a little money? Is it that simple?
They persist forever in attacks against people who just want to be left alone. Why? What form of logic is at work here that I don’t recognize? In all that I have read, I have never seen a coherent answer to that question.

Dan, The Onion is a satirical paper that MAKES UP news stories. Every article in the paper is fake. Past headlines: “Puppy dies adorable death.” You bring up real points, but please don’t cite this article as an example =)
